Being alone in a new country is a big change and I decided to take that challenge. Recently I moved to the United Kingdom for my higher studies.

It was a rough journey, from the decision up to the actual travel. But the process itself taught me how to overcome obstacles and solve problems.

But all of it was worth it. The moment I saw my university and accommodation, and met local people who were very polite and sweet, I felt just as if this was my second home.

I'm grateful as my flatmates are very nice people and we had a lot of fun only after being here for two weeks.

I would like to thank my Parents for their immense support in this decision and the whole process. Of course, I miss my family and friends back home and am eager to meet them after one year.

Since I've been here I've met different people from my university when we had our students fair and from my accommodation as well.
