Let the learning begin...

"Life is another name for learning"

This week we started with the first lectures for the three new courses. we had our introductions to our assignments and met three new friendly professors. The introductions themselves were so powerful and engaging that I am excited to learn more about the new topics. We also got introduced to our library services and visited the library to explore the variety of books and magazines. One new thing that I found was very convenient was the laptop issue service at our library. I won't have to take my laptop which is a gaming laptop and is very heavy to my class daily. I can just borrow one for four hours from my university I found my university has many such facilities and would love to explore them in the upcoming weeks. The lectures that we started were our Marketing, Design and Communications: Creative Thinking; and Products and Prototyping.

Marketing design and communications in this course we are going to explore more about semiotics, culture, marketing, business and branding. I am very excited as this is the topic for which I chose the course of brand management.

Creative thinking In this course we are exploring the thinking process of an artist or a creative person and how it can be applied in the creative Industries. We have two upcoming assignments for this - namely essay writing and second is the development of a strategy for one creative organization to boost its productivity.

Products and prototyping this course Focuses on overall Research and production and execution of your projects we have two very interesting assignments in this course. one is to create a visual statistics report and the second is to come up with a podcast in a group and record a few episodes. these are new topics for me and I am eager to work on it.
